The Smith Presidential Scholarship

To provide special recognition to certain especially outstanding students participating in the University Scholars Program at undergraduate campuses of the University (based in part upon SAT or equivalent test scores) and to selected resident students at the Worcester graduate campus. Student candidates will be recommended by the Admissions Office and Provosts of the various campuses, with final selection made by the Vice President for Academic Affairs and CEO of the Foundation, who will provide a report of recipients to Mr. Smith during his lifetime.
