Laura Lucia Hayman Scholarship Fund

The purpose of the Fund will be to provide annual scholarship awards to full- or part-time graduate students in the Manning College of Nursing and Health Sciences. The recipients shall have a 3.5 or greater GPA and at least 12 credits earned at UMass Boston. Preference will be given to students in child and adolescent healthcare within the context of community-based prevention. Secondary preference will be given to students with a strong letter of recommendation from a member of UMass Boston’s faculty or a supervisor in a healthcare setting. The award may be renewed through the recipients’ commencement, provided they maintain satisfactory academic progress. Recipients will be known as Laura Hayman Scholars.
