The Carna Scholarship Fund

To provide annual support for full-time students at the University of Massachusetts Boston who are in financial need. The Scholarship recipient shall carry the title of the Carna Scholar; Preference shall be given to first generation American citizens, followed by United States Permanent Residents; Scholarship applicants shall submit a one page (approximately 250-word) summary describing how their family came to reside in the United States, their near-term professional goals and how they will empower their family by obtaining a college degree; Preference shall be given to students who are the first in their family to attend college and those who are pursuing a degree within the College of Management.
