The Sax Family Fund for Teacher Preparation

The donors are establishing the fund to support tuition and/or fee expenses for an undergraduate student in their practicum semester at the College of Education and
Human Development (CEHD) at the University of Massachusetts Boston. The fund will provide a scholarship(s) award annually. Recipient(s) of the scholarship shall be selected via
faculty recommendation. Factors to be considered when selecting the award recipient include eligibility for student teaching, and scholarly worthiness based on academic record. The
scholarship recipient must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average. Priority shall be given to a CEHD undergraduate during their practicum semester. If there is no CEHD undergraduate
student eligible to receive the award, then this award will be open to a graduate student during their practicum semester at the College of Education and Human Development.
