The IBEW 2222 Scholarship

The purpose of the Fund will be to provide $1,500 scholarships to undergraduates who are current and retired IBEW members of Local 2222, or the children, step-children, or grandchildren of current and retired IBEW members of Local 2222. Recipients must be enrolled full-time and be considered in good academic standing at the University. The purpose of this Fund is to assist a student(s) to meet the cost of tuition, fees, and/or books. In furtherance of said purpose, the following guidelines apply: 1. Eligibility for financial aid is required – this is a need-based scholarship. 2. Minimum GPA should be at least 2.3 3. Students from all majors are eligible as well as students who have yet to declare a major. 4. Students are eligible and encouraged to re-apply for this scholarship each year up 4 years.

Applicants must provide the name and address of the IBEW Local 2222 member who makes them eligible for this scholarship program.
