The Talita Guerrero you CAN Scholarship Fund

Talita Guerrero ’15 is the co-founder of Right Key Mortgage, LLC, a company that finances residential and commercial loans throughout the country. She has been in the mortgage business for over a decade and has consistently been recognized for her high level of production placing her on the top 1% of originators in the US. She is part of Forbes Business Council.

At twelve years old Talita moved to the US from Brazil. She faced many challenges as an immigrant, eventually dropping out of high school. After the birth of her son, at only 16 years old, Talita decided to get her GED and apply for college. UMass Boston played a huge role in Talita’s success, but she quickly realized how students with less fortunate upbringings and less traditional paths were offered few advantages. After receiving the Charles Hoff Leadership Scholarship and seeing the culture of the university, Talita’s belief system shifted. She was able to graduate with a business degree with a concentration in management, become an entrepreneur, and live the life of her dreams. Today, Talita wants to give back and pay it forward.
