The Lam-Ikeda Scholarship Fund for Immigrant Success

The Dr. Kin-Chung Lam Scholarship Fund for Immigrant Success will provide two scholarship awards of $2,500 per student, per year, to full- or part-time undergraduate students in good standing, regardless of their residency status. Recipients will be pursuing a degree after a prolonged pause in their educational pursuits, and preference will be given to students parenting minor children. Financial need is a consideration and may be demonstrated through the FAFSA form or personal statements. The scholarship will be awarded to a student or students with greater than 24 credits completed and is renewable as long as the above criteria are met. At least one scholarship recipient each year must self-identify as a single-parent. Preference may be given to students from Brazil in honor of alumna Talita Guerrero ’15.
